For example, the acoustics may be better for musicians when they have a stage with some sort of backdrop. If your live event production is simply a magician or a public speaker, they might not care so much about needing a special stage. As long as everyone can see them and they have a properly working microphone, they are good to go. To make sure that you are getting the right type of stage set up for all of your performers, you will want to talk to them about what may work best for them.
Have The Performance Schedule Listed For Your Guests
Whether you're going to have breaks in between the various acts, or you are simply having one performer play right after another, you will still want to provide your guests with a schedule. It's considerate to let your guests know what they can expect throughout the night. Also, by knowing what the line up is for the live entertainment, you may prevent some people from leaving early. They might want to stick around to make sure that they are getting to enjoy the upcoming performances.
Figure Out A Backup Plan
It is important to make sure that you are establishing some sort of backup plan should a live performer cancel on you at the last minute. This is especially true for anyone that is only scheduling one single performer for the entire event. By knowing who you can call to fill the spot, you will prevent yourself from having to deal with a large crowd of bored and disappointed guests. Even if it is not the same type of live entertainment, something is always better than nothing.
